The scenic area is densely covered with centuries-old trees and Gu Teng, and nearly 3,000 species of plants, more than 700 species of wild Chinese herbal medicines, more than 60 waterfalls in Shanxi, and more than 200 species of wild animals such as phoenix birds, scarabs and pangolins have been found. "This is the place with the largest variety of plants in the Pearl River Delta and even the whole province."

Bing Lin said that, unlike the phenomenon of man-made landscape flooding in other tourist attractions, Nandan Mountain was developed and managed according to the green environmental protection model, which preserved the natural ecology such as native vegetation and water system to the maximum extent. It is reported that before the development, Nandanshan Company specially invited German planning experts, Canadian landscape designers and professors from Guangdong Tourism Planning Institute to study together for one year. "The purpose of the planning and design of scenic spots is to maximize the preservation of the original ecological environment, show functions such as leisure and health, holiday meetings, and highlight the cultural heritage of local longevity."

There are "eight scenic spots and one center" in this scenic spot. Besides Nanshan Rainforest, there are Health Plaza, Kaiyuan Ancient Temple, Five Blessingg Fragrant Flower World, Foshan Chinese Medicine Garden, South China Primitive Wild Botanical Garden, Romantic Avenue, Huangdiling and Hot Spring Hotel Center. Most of these projects are under construction or about to start, some will be opened by the end of this year, and others will be completed and put into use no later than the end of next year; The hot spring hotel will open in two or three years.

Among them, the Health Plaza will show the longevity culture of Sanshui and guide people to keep healthy. "Nandan Mountain Scenic Area is a bright spot in Nanshan, which enriches the connotation of longevity culture and will actively promote the development of tourism culture industry, which is an important content for us to build Shangri-La, Guangdong."

Nandan Mountain is located at the northernmost part of Sanshui, which is the junction of Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhaoqing and Qingyuan. After the completion of the scenic spot, it will attract citizens from Guangzhou, Foshan and even the Pearl River Delta. After the development is mature, it is expected to radiate to the whole province and Hong Kong and Macao.

Nandanshan Wanshou Palace

Climbing to the top of Nandan Mountain, you can see a Taoist temple-Wanshou Palace.

The Taoist temple is not big, only one step forward, but it enshrines the five immortals of "Fu, Lu, Shou, Xi and Cai" and protects the people on one side. The history of Taoist temple has been difficult to verify. It is said that this building existed a long time ago and sheltered the people of Nanshan Town to live and work in peace and contentment, and live a long and healthy life.

The current Wanshou Palace was built by local villagers through crowdfunding, and the immortals worshipped are very popular. Canyon flying rope

The flying cable project, which spans more than 300 meters between the top of Nandan Mountain and halfway up the mountain, has a drop of 50 meters. Visitors can jump from the peak more than 250 meters above sea level, feel the infinite gravity from the center of the earth and gain the pleasure of conquering the valley.
