It can be subdivided according to five criteria: geographical variables, population variables, income and expenditure variables, consumption variables and product variables.

4. Consumption variables. There are two levels here: one is consumer psychological habits, which are subdivided mainly on the basis of lifestyle, consumption motivation, values, main interests and participation in activities; The other is consumer behavior habit, which is subdivided mainly on the basis of consumption opportunity, consumption frequency, loyalty degree, waiting stage and marketing sensitivity.

5. Product variables. Mainly based on the nature of the specific tourism products that consumers accept and buy, it generally includes four main types: sightseeing, vacation, amusement and leisure.

Characteristics of tourism products:

1, comprehensive (tourism product production involves many departments and industries)

2. Non-transferability (tourism resources and facilities are relatively fixed, and the ownership of tourism products is not transferable)

3, intangible, that is, service (before buying: impression, when buying: service; After purchase: experience, memories)

4. Volatility (internal factors and external factors: political, economic, social and natural environment)

5. Dependence (public resources: dependence on tourism resources and facilities)

6. Time and space identity of production and consumption (time and space)
