There are many interesting places in Shenzhen. Do you know that there is a place called Dapeng Peninsula? This place has good scenery and is also a very suitable place to travel. The following small series will take you to see how this place should be played.

Dapeng Peninsula is located on the southeast coast of Shenzhen, between Dapeng Bay and Daya Bay, including the North Peninsula, the South Peninsula and the neck connection zone between them, and looks like a dumbbell.

I walked twice in August and September, along the coastline, from the North Peninsula (Baguang Village Scenic Area) to the South Peninsula (South Australia Aquatic Products Market-Yangmeikeng Valley-Dongchong-Xichong), and the transportation was mainly by bus, car and foot.

When I went there for the first time, I couldn't go south clockwise along the Bahe Highway, because the Gaolingshan Tunnel couldn't pass in the northeast corner near Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station, so I had to go back the same way.

The second trip, to be exact, is around the south island of Dapeng Peninsula. There is no real coastal ring road on the island. You must copy various mountain roads or main routes to get to the place near the coast, and then walk or ride.

The traffic in Dapeng Peninsula Island is not convenient, the road surface is narrow, and traffic jams often occur during holidays. We mainly rely on buses and rides. Self-driving friends should be prepared for traffic jams, time-consuming and difficult parking.

If you travel by bus, the following is the relevant traffic information (there is a holiday line to all destinations in Dapeng Island, but it is only opened during the summer vacation and weekends, so you need to pay attention to this and plan the traffic route well before you travel).

If you want more choices, you can take the subway from Shenzhen downtown to Longgang Central City, and some cars can go directly to Kwai Chung, and there are not many people, so there are seats to take.

If you go to Baguang Scenic Area, you can only take a ride in Kwai Chung Town because no bus arrived after the bus was cancelled a few years ago. It's not far away. After crossing the Kuiba Tunnel, you can reach Baguang Village in the northeast of Dapeng Peninsula. After arriving in Kwai Chung Town or Dapeng Town, get off the bus and transfer to Dapeng Suocheng (in the direction of the end of the field) or South Australia, or Dongxichong (in South Australia, going to Xichong or Dongchong or Yangmeikeng Valley is a very congested road, and the bus will detour, so the waiting station is wrong, and you will not be able to wait for the bus. At this time, a ride will be a better way).

Hitchhiking is usually very expensive. It is best to carpool with more people, and it depends on the situation. If there is a bus to get there, you don't need a ride. There is still a big gap between a few dollars and dozens of dollars. Some bus routes that may be used on the island are:

Accommodation in Dapeng Peninsula is concentrated in South Australia, Dapeng Suocheng, Jiaochangwei, Yangmeikeng Valley, Xichong and Dongchong. However, the hotel facilities are not good, and most of them are homestays. The houses built by local people are transformed into hotels, so people who want to play can't be too demanding.

Baguang village

Take bus M220 to Kwai Chung Town of Dapeng Peninsula, and get off at the station near Kwai Chung Post Office. As the bus stopped, our four colleagues had to call a car, and 50 yuan took it to the intersection of Baguang Village.

Baguang Village is located at the terminal of Yanba Expressway, close to Huishen Coastal Expressway. Surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing the sea on one side, because it has not been developed yet, the ecological environment is particularly well maintained, and the relatively primitive topography is still preserved. Although more than 100 old houses have been deserted, most of them have been requisitioned for reconstruction and tourism development. The back of the old houses is mountainous, with dense forests and long coasts.

Bahe highway

Hiking on the dam core highway, the weather is fine, and the big sun and white clouds look up. On the left side of the highway is the coast, and on the right side is the mountain. On holidays, a small number of people from go on road trip drive down the dam-core highway. When they find someone near the beach, they stop and go fishing and catching crabs.

Walking into the village, I found the stone bridge that had been in disrepair for a long time. Probably all the people in the village went to live in the city, waiting for reconstruction and tourism.

Nan 'ao Town | Yangmeikeng Valley Roundabout Highway

After lunch, take M220 to Kwai Chung Town, get off at the post office, transfer to our destination, and stay at night in Shenzhen Dongshan Night Pearl Hotel near Dongshan Pearl Farm (Dongyu Village) in Yangmeikeng Valley area.

It's a bit troublesome to take a bus here. There is no direct bus. Please transfer to Nan 'ao Town (in the middle of the peninsula) first, and then transfer. I took the No.833 bus to South Australia's aquatic products market, and found that the M274 bus I wanted to take was diverted. I didn't take the traffic jam section, so I finally had to take a ride instead, carpooling with a couple who were also going to Yangmeikeng Valley and taking a trip to 40 yuan.

Dongshan Pearl Island Resort, although the hotel is a little remote, is close to an east fishing village and a pearl farm. There is no scenic spot area. On the one hand, it is backed by mountains, and on the other hand, it faces the bay. The past is the city of Dapeng, the tail coast of Jiaochang, and the mountains connected in the distance are Paiya Mountain near the nuclear power plant area. However, the biggest highlight of the hotel is the open-air swimming pool.

After checking in at the hotel, take M274 to Yangmeikeng Valley (Judiao Beach Bay) in Higashioji opposite the hotel. It is said to be a good place to ride a bicycle around the sea, but unfortunately the weather hasn't cleared up that day and I haven't seen the scenery of the sea and the sky. And the area near the resort on Xindong Road is full of traffic jams.

After nightfall, I went back to the hotel by bus, and dinner was settled at the food stall at the entrance of the hotel. Flower flower is the only bright spot, but the price is a little expensive, 38 yuan/Jin!

East-west crossing

East-west crossing has always been recommended by friends who love outdoor, calling it "one of the most beautiful coastlines in China". The crossing is challenging, especially in the case of sun exposure and insufficient equipment, which will increase the difficulty. I thought the weather was bad and I might cancel the crossing, so I didn't bring my equipment. But when it was really good weather and we were about to leave, we found that it was really hard. Therefore, it is necessary to make adequate route planning and crossing preparation.

1. Transportation

You can take the e11 bus to South Australia and transfer to a bus or a private car. There is a traffic jam on holidays. If you need to drive by car, you'd better stop at the parking lot in South Australia, and then take the bus or private car to Dongchong.

2. Route

At present, you need to buy tickets for the beach when crossing from Dongchong or Xichong. Depending on your personal arrangement, you will feel that it will be better to start from Dongchong, and the road will be gentle when you arrive at Xichong, which is conducive to overcoming fatigue.

3. Time selection

The whole crossing process takes five hours, and it is hard to cross in summer, which is a great test for physical strength. I almost want to give up because of the hot weather on the day I crossed. I suggest that I choose sunny days before May 1 or after November 1 to enjoy the beautiful sea view.

4. Equipment

Walking shoes (especially non-slip), sweat towels, gloves, backpacks, sun hats, trekking poles, sunglasses, sunscreen, long trousers, skin trench coats, cameras, purified water, sports drinks (Red Bull, Baokuangli, etc.), chocolates, other snacks, etc., should be packed as much as possible. During the crossing, villagers sell water on some hillsides (near Xichong), so it is appropriate.

The city of Dapeng Suo is located in Nanmen East Road, Longgang District, Shenzhen. The common modes of transportation to this scenic spot are: bus from Shenzhen Airport: take Airport Bus Line 6 → Medical Department, turn to E11 Bus → Dapeng Station, and turn to B756 Road → Dapeng Suo Cheng Station. From Shenzhen coach station: take E11 bus from Yinhu bus station to Dapeng station, and then transfer to B756 road to Dapeng station. Take the H92 tourist bus to Dapeng Station in futian bus station, and then transfer to B756 Road to Dapeng Station. From the central area of Longgang, you can take bus No.833 (Longgang-Nan 'ao) to Dapeng, and then transfer to B756 Road → Dapeng Suocheng Station. From the central area of Longgang, you can take Bus No.818 (Longgang Bus Terminal-Dapeng) and transfer to B756 Road → Dapeng Suocheng Station. Driving 1. From Shennan Avenue, Binhe Road, Sungang Road and Buxin Road in the east of the city, pass through Liantang Wutongshan Tunnel to Shatoujiao, then pass Yantian Shangyanba Expressway to Kwai Chung, turn to Pingxi first-class highway and exit from Dapeng Suocheng/Nuclear Power Station, and walk 6 kilometers to the left via Dapeng Sculpture. 2. Guangzhou, Dongguan, Zhuhai and other places go from Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway to the airport-kilometer transfer to Holland Expressway, and then transfer to Huiyan after reaching the end point of Holland. 3. Take the expressway to Huizhou, get off at Longgang/Pingshan intersection and turn right to Dapeng New District. The city of Dapeng was built in the 27th year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (AD 1394). It was a coastal defense military fortress in South China in Ming and Qing Dynasties, from which Shenzhen is now called "Pengcheng". In the Ming Dynasty, there were many famous generals here, such as Liu Zhong, a military general, and Lai's "three generations and five generals", so it also had the reputation of "General Village".

Today's Dapeng City still retains antique gates, towers, ancient streets and ancient houses. Here you can see many former generals' houses and cultural relics related to coastal defense, which is a good place to understand modern military history.
