Shengtangshan traffic guide: convenient transportation and extending in all directions. Transportation: Shengtang Mountain is located 45 kilometers southwest of Jinxiu Yao Autonomous County, Guangxi. Liuzhou Jinxiu Shengtangshan Line: Liuzhou Jinxiu, sleeper, fare 21 yuan, 4 and a half hours by car; Jinxiu Shengtang Mountain has more than 50 kilometers of winding and steep mountain roads. The shuttle bus only passes by the foot of the mountain, and it takes about 3 hours to drive. It is very inconvenient. You can use chartered bus (double-row minibus): one-way 160 yuan means going up the mountain in the morning and coming back from the mountain that day, and the driver will wait for it on the mountain.

■ Accommodation: You can stay in Jinxiu without watching the sunrise. There is one bed in 20 yuan. When there are many tourists at the Rhododendron Festival in Shengtangshan in May and June, you can stay in Tongmu Town. Tongmu Town Hotel is recommended.

To see the sunrise, you can stay at Yunhai Mountain Villa on the top of the mountain, but food and accommodation are more expensive, and private rooms are available from 200 yuan to 880 yuan. If you can't afford the price of the Peak Hotel, it is recommended to bring your own tent, sleeping bag and dry food.

May and June is the best time to go to Tiantang Mountain. At this time, it is not only easy to photograph gorgeous sunrises and sunsets and unpredictable clouds of smoke, but also the season when 10,000 mu of rhododendrons are in full bloom.

Climbing from the north of the mountain to Ma 'an 'ao at an altitude of 1,500 meters, there is a well-known colorful rhododendron forest, about 10,000 mu. In Guangxi, the rhododendron forest is not unique to Dayao Mountain. Huaping, Yuanbaoshan and Daming Mountain are all distributed, but tens of thousands of acres like the top of Shengtang Mountain are connected into pieces, and there are many kinds of them, but they are unique. The turn of spring and summer is the flowering period of Rhododendron discolor. The flowers change color with the change of flowering period, and the buds are bright red. The flowers are pink at first and then turn pale yellow, hence the name Rhododendron discolor. Rhododendron rubrum and Rhododendron australis are the dominant populations, and Rhododendron cornutum, Rhododendron Huaping, Rhododendron Lilium, Rhododendron albiflora and Rhododendron discolor are scattered among them, with bright colors and splendor. The flowering period in May coincides with the tourist peak season, and it is refreshing to be at the top of the mountains.

The trunk of Rhododendron here is not obvious, short and stout, and some are twisted, with primitive shape and simple and vigorous beauty. When the flowers fall, the thick and tangled stems and branches are also amazing. Looking down from the mouth of Ma 'an Peak, there is a stone bridge extending from the main meeting, which is called overpass. Below the bridge is an abyss, which is very steep. Legend has it that once upon a time there was a Yao leader, Gong Gan, who led the Yao people to resist the officers and men. Because he was outnumbered, he was forced to run up the Tiantang Mountain. In order to get away, Gong Gan grabbed glutinous rice flour and scattered it at the officers and men. Suddenly, it was foggy and dark. He took the opportunity to run up the Tiantang Mountain and was blocked by a deep valley along the way. The officers and men came after him. Gong Gan used his quick wits to take off his white turban and throw it at the opposite mountain peak. The turban turned into a bridge, along the road. Folk legends cast a mysterious veil over this stone bridge.
