2017 Dali Travel Guide
Dali has always been a utopia in my heart. That place is sacred. I won't come easily without complete preparation and time. But this year has really experienced too many things. I want to go to the nearest place to heaven, or the most imaginary place in heaven, to see how people live there and feel the various lifestyles of people there!
There are four gates in the ancient city: Cangshan Gate, Erhai Gate, South Gate and North Gate. The south gate is more magnificent, and it is the main gate for general tour groups to enter.
Out of Cangshan Gate, you can go to Cangshan Zhonghe cableway not far away. Foreigners Street, Renmin Road and Fuxing Road in the ancient city are relatively prosperous, with Yang Renjie as the center. Fuxing road has a panoramic view of the north and south, connecting the north and south towers, and you can savor the charm of the ancient city at night.
In fact, the so-called foreigner street in the city is just a place name, which does not mean that all the people living here are foreigners. It is also wonderful to stop and walk in such a street in one day and feel different beautiful scenery.
Second stop: Cangshan
Go out from Cangshanmen, the ancient city. Go up and walk to Cangshan Zhonghe cableway. You can navigate or consult local residents about the route. Cangshan generally chooses to take a cableway. There are three ropeways in Cangshan, namely Gantong ropeway, Ximatan ropeway and Zhonghe ropeway. Each ropeway has different scenic spots. You can choose different ropeways to climb Cangshan Mountain according to your own interests.
1. Ximatan Cableway: The observation deck at the top of Cangshan Mountain is 3980 meters above sea level, riding Dragon Girl Pool Tianlong Babu Film and Television City.
2. Sensory ropeway: It takes time to walk to the Dragon Rider's Pool to reach Dai Yuyun's tour halfway up the mountain (walking and ropeway at the same time).
3. Neutralization cableway is similar to induction cableway.

1. Cangshan National Geopark 40 yuan, but if you take a cableway or ride a horse, you don't need to buy a ticket, which is already included.
2. Ximatan cableway reaches the top of the mountain and travels to and from 320 yuan, including tickets and tickets for Tianlong Babu Film and Television City.
3. Take the Ximatan cableway to 160 yuan halfway up the mountain, including tickets. Riding up the mountain requires 180 yuan, including tickets, which can be bargained, depending on one's ability.
Third stop: Erhai Lake
Cycling around Erhai Lake is one of the necessary choices for Dali tourism. Riding along Binhai Road, you can enjoy the scenery of Erhai Lake. But be sure to pay attention to sun protection. Ultraviolet rays are very strong. Of course, you can also choose the pier cruise to visit Erhai Lake.
In the ancient city, there are buses to Caicun Wharf or buses passing through Caicun Wharf to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Erhai Lake by cruise ship.
In fact, the best place to see Erhai Lake is in Shuanglang. After coming, I heard the locals mention it, but the time was not suitable, and I didn't go to the Shuanglang in the end. However, it is good to have regrets during the trip, which will make me have more fun and be more satisfied when I come next time.
